Dermaroller

This is a special instrument, with microneedles that are used to treat superficial, moderate and deep acne scars. The procedure will even out the skin texture through collagen stimulation.

Dermaroller renews the skin by creating microscopic channels through the skin, which increases the formation of new tissues resulting in firmer and younger-looking skin. This is the treatment that not only helps the skin to improve skin blemishes, acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles but also helps in reducing hair loss when we use it along with mesotherapy for hair.

Four to six sessions, one every 3-4 weeks are required to fill up scars effectively.

Pre and Post-Procedure Instructions

  • Apply a local anesthetic cream 45 minutes before the procedure.
  • Use an antibiotic cream twice daily for 3 days after the procedure.
  • Use a mild cleanser and moisturizer for 5 days after the procedure.
  • Avoid excessive exposure to the sun during and between treatments.
  • Use a sunscreen of SPF 30+ regularly after the treatment.
  • Avoid make-up for 4 to 5 days after the procedure.

Post-Procedure Symptoms

  • Swelling and redness usually occur after the procedure; the swelling subsides in 6 to 7 hours while the redness settles down in 24 hours.
